Tattnall Nominates Nine Seniors For The Golden Eagle Competition
The Golden Eagle Awards celebrate exceptional high school seniors for academic excellence, exemplary service, and outstanding leadership every year.
Tattnall Square Academy nominated nine seniors to different Golden Eagle categories. Congratulations to Tattnall's nominees:
Front Row - Avery Scott (Social Sciences), Carys Fonner (Journalism), Kaitlyn Hallman (Mathematics), and Katy Bridges (Citizenship).
Back Row - Noah Johnson (Science), Clay Rowland (Athletics), Jake Hilliard (Music), Justin Walton (Art), and Dylan Jones (English/Literature).
Johnson And Smothers Named 2022 Star Student And Star Teacher
Noah Johnson was named the STAR Student of the Class of 2022, and selected Mrs. Carolyn Smothers as his STAR Teacher.

Mrs. Smothers has been selected as STAR Teacher twelve times.
The student who earns the highest SAT score, in one sitting, is named STAR Student. This student must also be in the top 10 or top 10% of his or her class.
Scott And Willis Named Homecoming Queen And King
Avery Scott was selected as the 2021-2022 Homecoming Queen, and DJ Willis was selected as the 2021-2022 Homecoming King.

During her time at TSA, Avery was a member of the Varsity Girls' Soccer and Basketball teams. She also, was the Valedictorian of the Class of 2022 and voted "Most Christlike" and ""Most Intellectual" by her peers.

During his time at TSA, DJ was a member of the Varsity Baseball Team. He was voted "Best Citizen" and "Friendliest" by his peers.
MOORE SELECTED AS A GOVERNOR'S HONORS PROGRAM SEMI-FINALIST
Kate Moore was named a semi-finalist in the Governor's Honors Program in the theatre category.
Kate put her on-stage talents to good use this year as she played Belle in TSA's production of Beauty and the Beast Jr.!
