Trevor Koverko

Toronto, Canada

Trevor Koverko is a Canadian entrepreneur and investor known for his work in blockchain, fintech, and artificial intelligence. Originally from Toronto, he began his career as a professional hockey player and was drafted by the New York Rangers in 2005. After a serious accident ended his hockey career, he shifted his focus to business, studying at the Ivey Business School at Western University and moving into the startup world. Trevor co-founded Polymath, a blockchain platform designed to simplify the process of creating and managing security tokens. The project became an early player in regulated digital asset markets and helped establish new standards for tokenization. He later helped launch and invest in other ventures, including Tokens.com, Polymesh, and, currently, Sapien AI, a decentralized data network that connects global contributors with companies developing artificial intelligence systems. In addition to his own ventures, Trevor is an active investor in early-stage technology companies, particularly those working in decentralized infrastructure and AI applications. His focus is on helping founders navigate challenges in product development, fundraising, and market growth. Outside of business, Trevor supports several charitable organizations, including Africa Inland Mission and Brynn Children’s Home, focusing on practical initiatives that provide long-term support to communities in need. Trevor Koverko continues to build and invest in companies that bridge finance and technology, applying lessons from both sports and entrepreneurship to inform his approach to leadership and innovation.
