ADULT SOFTBALL

Adult Softball leagues are played under USSSA guidelines. Leagues are open to teams only and fees are $375 per team. Teams play eight regular-season games per season, with teams playing one to two games per night. Leagues will have a one-night playoff after the regular season for the top four to six teams. Home run limits for each league are listed below, and all home runs over the limit will be considered an out.

Due to time constraints, each season has a drop-dead date which is listed below. All games must be completed by this drop-dead date. Any games not completed by this time will be finished in a drop-dead tournament on a Saturday. This is the only way games are made up should we have three or more rainouts, and no refunds will be given. Registration for Summer 2 Softball League runs from May 30 and ends on July 4, with games beginning the week of July 10. The drop-dead week for this season is September 4-9, and the drop-dead tournament will take place on September 10 if necessary. Registration for Fall Softball League runs from August 1 and ends on September 4, with games beginning the week of September 11. The drop-dead week for this season is November 6-11, and the drop-dead tournament will take place on November 12 if necessary.

The Town of Little Elm is excited to partner with Red River Social Sports to offer those in the Little Elm area the chance to compete in Sand Volleyball, Kickball, Soccer, and more!

These offerings will be available to both individuals and teams, and their goal is to create a fun social outlet for adults in the North Dallas area.

All leagues will be designed to offer people the chance to meet new friends and provide a fun atmosphere to compete. Leagues will also host social events at local restaurants and businesses in order for participants to mingle and interact outside of the normal league night atmosphere. ADULT VOLLEYBALL

Ready, set, spike, and sign up for Indoor Volleyball leagues! Registration is $200 for 4v4 teams and $225 for 6v6. Leagues are coed, and we take a max of seven teams per season. Teams will have six games per season, plus one week of playoffs. The first night of each league will be an open play night for the entire league. Registration for Summer Indoor Volleyball runs April 25-June 5, open play on June 7 and 9, and games starting the week of June 14. Games begin between 6:30-7 p.m. and the last game will end around 10 p.m. Fall registration: June 27-August 7.

This year we will offer free agents the ability to sign up and create a new team. The fee per free agent is $35. There must be at least six players signed up for the 4v4 league (must have at least one of each gender to create a team). AREENA SPORTS

The Town of Little Elm is excited to partner with AREENA Sports to provide soccer and basketball opportunities to adults in the Little Elm area. These leagues are monthly and are set up like a pick-up league. Basketball is played at The Rec at The Lakefront™, and soccer is played at Little Elm park.

PICKLEBALL OPEN GYM

Pickleball is open to any age group. Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines badminton, tennis, and table tennis elements. Pickleball requires a membership or day pass to The Rec at The Lakefront™. Pickleball open gym is held on MWF from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. PICKLEBALL-ONLY MONTHLY PASS

CORNHOLE

Grab a friend and join one of the fastest-growing leagues in Little Elm. New for the 2022 year, we will offer a Coed/Women's league in addition to our regular upper and lower divisions. All leagues are 2v2, and teams may use subs when needed. Coed/Women's teams must have at least one female each night to play. Leagues are available on both Tuesdays and Thursdays, and all teams must bring their bags. Each league night is open to the first 40 teams to register, and the cost is $60 per team. Registration includes two stickers/decals per team and 12 league matches (two per night most evenings). Playoffs will be available for the top 4-6 teams in each division. All cornhole leagues have a drop-dead date for each season. All games must be completed by this date. If any games remain to be played on this date, they will be made up in a drop-dead tournament on a predetermined Saturday. Registration for the Summer Cornhole season begins on March 3 and ends on April 28. Games will begin on May 3 for the Tuesday leagues and May 5 for the Thursday leagues. The drop-dead week for this league is June 28-30, and the drop-dead tournament will take place on July 9, if necessary.

The Town of Little Elm is proud to offer a basketball league for those 30 years of age or older on Sundays at The Rec at The Lakefront™. Games are played between noon and 9 p.m., and multiple divisions are offered. This league is a full-court league played primarily by men, and teams are guaranteed six games per season. The Town will provide officials and scorekeepers for games, and teams are required to provide reversible jerseys that have a number permanently affixed to the front or back of the jersey. If teams do not have reversible jerseys, they must have two color options for their jerseys.

This year we will offer free agents the ability to sign up and create new teams. There must be eight free agents signed up to have a free agent team, and the Town will provide reversible jerseys for those teams. The league's first meeting will be on July 24, before league games begin and will be open for pick-up play and for free agents to meet. Registration for the Summer League will begin on June 20 and end on July 24. The league will have an open play/pickup day on July 24. YOUTH SPORTS

All youth athletic leagues are organized by the Little Elm Area Youth Sports Association (LEAYSA).

LEAYSA is a non-profit youth sports organization made up of volunteers that help coordinate and promote kids sports leagues. They are dedicated to sports education and participation for the youth in Little Elm and surrounding communities. Their goal is to provide a positive sporting experience for children of all ages.
