TOURO COLLEGE OF PHARMACY MOVES TO TIMES SQUARE

As Touro College and University System continues to grow and expand, the school has big plans for the future, announcing a new 243,305 square-foot campus in one of the most iconic places in New York City—Times Square. Touro will transform eight floors of the building into classrooms, science and technology labs, offices and event space, and will have a dedicated entrance and lobby on the southwest corner of 43rd Street and Seventh Avenue.

Touro College of Pharmacy will be one of eight Touro schools housed in the location, including New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS), Graduate School of Business (GSB), Graduate School of Education (GSE), Graduate School of Jewish Studies (GSJS), Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW), School of Health Sciences (SHS) and Graduate School of Technology (GST).

“Touro is now celebrating its 50-year anniversary and by improving our campus experience and upgrading our facilities, Touro will be well-positioned for the next 50 years,” said Touro President Dr. Alan Kadish. “We're excited about the opportunities for our students in the future.”

The presence of faculty from different disciplines will increase the chances for research and academic collaboration, and there will also be more of a chance for students to meet each other, in a place that will feel like an urban campus. Renovations have already begun, and we are excited to move in in early 2023.
