GRADE 11 HISTORY EXCURSION
On Wednesday, 29 July, the Cambridge High School Grade 11 History pupils visited the Steve Biko Centre in Ginsburg. The visit included a tour of the museum and Biko house. This was an extremely educational experience and the learners gathered important information for their research projects.
CAMBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL MATRIC DANCE
Saturday, 1 August, saw the Matrics of 2015 donning beautiful dresses and smart suits as they attended their Matric Farewell Dance. The ladies all looked stunning, and the gentlemen very dapper. The theme for the evening was “Paris in winter”. The Dance Committee did an excellent job and the evening was a wonderful success.

LILYFONTEIN LEARNERS RECOGNISED AT NMMU ACCOUNTING WINTER SCHOOL Both Grade 11 learners took part in the three-day accounting winter school run by Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s School of Accounting and sponsored by PWC. Courtney Crew came joint first place out of the 363 learners who attended and Kellan Lehy was in the top 20. Both were selected by their Tutorial leaders as the ‘most involved student’ in their group of 20 and both were among the 20 learners chosen for psychometric testing for potential bursaries. Courtney Crew and Kellan Lehy excelled at the NMMU Accounting Winter School during the holidays.
