Just Imagine Community Participation is Vital to Success SWLA Just Imagine SWLA is a robust master plan brought to life by the residents of Southwest Louisiana. Community participation drives the 11 catalytic projects forward, bringing the necessary changes to rebuild a stronger, more resilient region. The engagement process for Just Imagine SWLA highlights the needs and desires of residents to create a community better equipped to withstand natural disasters, while fostering a thriving economy and improving the quality of life. More than 2,500 people contributed over 7,300 comments to the plan through various channels: • Public meetings in Calcasieu and Cameron parishes • Text message campaigns • Comments on the Ideas Wall and Interactive Map on the Just Imagine SWLA website • Small group gatherings with volunteer ambassadors
