The reserve is home to the Big Five and has a strong focus on conservation of endangered species. The private nature of the reserve means guests’ safari experience and sightings will always be intimate and respectful, creating an unforgettable opportunity to experience Africa’s iconic wildlife. Rhino Sands Safari Camp was designed and built with minimal disruption to the ecosystem to complement, rather than dominate, the environment. The camp is made entirely of canvas tents set upon wooden decks and decorated in a classical safari style. It is a space where the indoors and outdoors merge seamlessly, creating a camp where guests are invited to immerse themselves entirely in the experience of safari.

The luxury tented suites feature a lounge, bathroom with bathtub and shower, private deck with plunge pool, outdoor shower, and bedroom that can be configured as a king or two singles. The camp accommodation consists of only 4 luxury tented suites (8 guests maximum) so each guest stay is both intimate and personalized. The Rhino Sands team provides an exceptionally high level of customer service delivered with warmth and prides themselves on providing a customized safari experience for each guest.
