Christopher Grundy
Pyramid Real Estate Group, a Stamford-based management and commercial property brokerage real estate firm, welcomed Andrew Ayala and Christopher Grundy to its team. Ayala of Westport is a new commercial brokerage sales associate manager who will also be helping the firm as a senior asset manager. He previously served as a
senior vice president with Related Management Co., as well as on the staff of GE Real Estate, from 1996 to 2013. Grundy of Stamford is a new commercial broker who recently moved from New Haven. Prior to joining, Grundy served as a commercial sales and leasing associate with Farnam Realty Group in New Haven.

AUG. 13 People’s United Community Foundation honors its grant recipients during a recognition breakfast.
The People’s United Community Foundations, the philanthropic arm of People’s United Bank, honored the work of 17 organizations by collectively donating $90,000 in support of activities, such as basic needs services, work readiness programs, affordable housing, life skills and after-school programs, during a recognition breakfast at the People’s United Bank branch on Park Avenue in New York City. The recipients included breakfast July 21 at International Leadership Charter School, Wyandanch Homes and Property Development Corp., Island Harvest

Dana Scinto Colangelo
The Child & Family Guidance Center (CFGC) an organization based in Bridgeport that serves the emotional and psychological well-being of children and their families, with additional clinics in Fairfield, Norwalk and Stratford, elected Dana Scinto Colangelo as chairperson of its board of directors, with Mindee Blanco stepping into the vice chairperson position. Colangelo of Fairfield works part time for R.D. Scinto Inc., a family-owned real estate company, as director of public relations. She serves on the president’s council of the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Cancer Center and has been a member of CFGC board of

directors for nine years, most recently serving as vice chairperson. Blanco of Fairfield currently serves as the chief operating officer for Barnum Financial Group and the director of Barnum’s wealth strategies division, in addition to overseeing lead management and client relationship management technology initiatives, among other responsibilities. She is the co-founder of Foundation for Life Inc., a nonprofit that supports hundreds of organizations in the Northeast. She also serves as president of the Parents Council at The Hopkins School in New Haven, and has been a member of the board of directors of CFGC for the past six years.

Greenwich Hospital’s Moulin Rouge 2016 Gala to support the hospital’s range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac systems is being held Saturday, Nov. 19, beginning 6 p.m. at the Greenwich Country Club. The event will also honor James R. Sabetta, director of infectious diseases, internal medicine and chief assistant of staff, with the President’s Award
for his many years of service to the hospital. As assistant to chief of staff, Sabetta plays an integral role in helping to shape all divisions of medical services at the hospital. Gala chairwomen Gretchen Bylow, Kim Nichols and Jennifer Seidel selected Moulin Rouge as the theme for this year’s décor. For more information, email events@ greenwichhospital.org.
George B. Butler
The Hartford-based Connecticut Health Foundation (CT Health), a health philanthropy dedicated to improving lives by changing health systems, elected George B. Butler as chairman of its board of directors. Butler, who served on the CT Health board since July 2006, currently serves as senior vice president and general counsel of Eversource Energy. In addition to serving as chairman, he serves on the foundation’s governance and public policy committees. Prior to joining, Butler held several positions at Eversource Energy, including secretary, vice president and general counsel and vice president of governmental affairs.
