Tom Funkhouser has ten years’ experience coaching middle school soccer and lacrosse, and is the director of the summer sports camps at Steward. As a chef for Meriwether Godsey in Steward’s dining services, Anton spends his days meeting the culinary needs of teenagers, so he is a survivor of the ultimate food challenge! With a degree from Chicago’s School of Culinary Arts and years of experience as an executive chef at clubs and resorts, he will provide a fresh food perspective and open up a whole new world in the kitchen for his campers. Kurt is Steward’s varsity tennis coach and a four-time All-American in tennis at Ferris State University and winner of the university’s first-ever NCAA Championship in 1989. He traveled the world playing tennis professionally after college. He holds five national titles and 15 state titles in Michigan, Maryland, and Virginia in singles and doubles. Before creating K & L Sports with his wife Lisa, he was the Head Tennis Professional and Director of Junior Tennis at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

If your daughter has any interest in field hockey, Erin is the coach she’s been waiting for! During college, Erin was the goalie for VCU’s team, and she is now the co-founder of Priority Goalkeeping.
