MUNTI GOV’T, PRIVATE WORKERS TAKE SIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING

THROUGH the Muntinlupa City Persons With Disability A airs O ce (PDAO), the Basic Filipino Sign Language (FSL) Training was held for Muntinlupa City Government sta and private sector workers last August 14 at SM Muntinlupa.

This FSL Training aims to break the communication barrier that hinders understanding and communication with the Muntinlupa Deaf Community.

Among the attendees were some members of the Deaf Congregation from the International Evangelical Church of Alabang (IECA), where they had a fun and productive interaction with the hearing participants, who were all public servants and private sector employees or professionals.

PNP-MUNTINLUPA RECEIVES NEW EQUIPMENT FROM LGU

THE Muntinlupa LGU, led by Mayor Ru y Biazon, turned over 60 bulletproof helmets, 60 body armor vests, and more than 74,000 rounds of ammunition for their rearms to the Philippine National Police (PNP) units in the city.

It coincides with the city government’s priority programs, which include Peace and Order, where they continue strengthening the city’s peace and order capability.

The Muntinlupa LGU earlier placed security outposts at strategic points in Muntinlupa, along with increased police visibility in our communities. Biazon also recently turned over patrol vehicles and motorcycles with Battenburg markings to their police and Public Order and Safety O ce. Muntinlupa also has a 24/7 functioning CCTV network to prioritize safety and security.

MUNTINLUPA ENTREPRENEURSHIP FINANCING DIVISION CONDUCTS ‘DALAW NEGOSYO’

THE Muntinlupa Entrepreneurship Financing Division (MEFD) visited Barangays Alabang, Bayanan, Tunasan, and Putatan to conduct “Dalaw Negosyo” from August 4 to 11.

It aims to share the MEFD programs and services coinciding with the city’s 7K Agenda, particularly its economic aspect, as promoted by the LGU led by Mayor Ru y Biazon.

Attendees include MEFD beneficiaries, 4Ps, and those interested in applying for the non-profit additional investment program. Successful business owners of each barangay also shared their unique success stories during the event.
