Aura Cares holds charity event films marked by violence or worldly desires be dozens sift

Corporate Social Responsibility practices of companies are generally displayed through charity works. One example was Aura Cares Foundation which organized a charity event held recently at Dream Lab, Ayala Malls Circuit, Makati City. The charity event was a celebration of unity, compassion, and hope, a demonstration of the extraordinary power of individuals and organizations coming together to create lasting change in the country. Intended beneficiaries included the children of God’s Provisions, Onesimo Foundation, Bags of Hope, and God’s Angel Little Miracle, organizations that have dedicated their works to uplifting the lives of underprivileged children.
The children were treated to interactive games and heartwarming performances, an experience that transcended their everyday challenges, a day to forget their worries and immerse themselves in a world of wonder and delight.
The generous partner sponsors served as a powerful reminder of the collective social responsibility we share to uplift those in need. Aura Cares thanked the Philippine Amusement and Entertainment Corporation (PAEC), headed by its president, Lance Tan, which allowed the event to be held at Dream Lab, a new educational and fun destination designed for Filipino children to learn how to become entrepreneurs at an early age through interactive experiential simulations.
Meanwhile, Aura Events Management also announced that nominations are now open for the prestigious and star-studded 2nd Global Iconic Aces Awards 2023 which honors the best in various fields.
The festival was officially launched at a press conference organized by Cinema 76 Film Society last August 8, 2023. Since the announcement of the event dropped, festival officials have been receiving dozens of inquiries from interested filmmakers. An esteemed selection committee will sift through all applications to find the exceptional directors who will make up the festival’s lineup in March.

ABS-CBN Foundation extends hand to affected families by recent typhoons
OVER 2,000 families from different towns in Ilocos Sur and Cagayan received relief from ABS-CBN Foundation to help them recover from the damages brought by typhoons Egay and Falcon. The heavy rains displaced families in the two regions and affected their livelihood, but with the generosity of donors, ABSCBN Foundation Sagip Kapamilya was able to give relief packs to families living in barangays Casitan and Batangan in Gonzaga,
Cagayan, and barangays Simayung and Sirit in Abulug. In Ilocos Sur, the Foundation also served residents affected by massive flooding with food packs, including those living in the towns of San Ildefonso, San Pablo, Santo Domingo, and Bantay.

In an interview with TV Patrol, Ilocos Sur provincial administrator Marlon Tagorda said the towns that ABS-CBN Foundation reached were submerged by the flood. “They are really devastated and they were directly hit by the typhoon so lahat ng mga pinuntahan natin lubog,” he said. Individuals who wish to share their love with affected families can send their donation to ABS-CBN Foundation through various donation channels posted on the ABS-CBN Foundation Facebook page. They may also purchase ABSCBN Foundation donation vouchers via Shopee and Lazada.
