Ajinomoto’s Victory Project picks Yulo

CARLOS “Caloy” Yulo is one of the top Filipino prospects to deliver a medal--hopefully the golden one-in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

To help Yulo achieve his full potential, Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC Group) will support him through the Victory Project started by Ajinomoto in 2003. The Victory Project aims to support the conditioning of top-level athletes in Japan and conduct nutritional support activities1 utilizing the power of amino acids, including providing products such as aminoVITAL and promoting the Winning Meals Kachimeshi.

Ajinomoto’s Kachimeshi (“Winning Meals”) concept is shared to support elite athletes in building winning physiques for optimum performance.

Yulo, the First Filipino and male South-East Asian to win at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, thus joins world karate champion Junna Tsukii as the elite endorser for APC.

“We are extremely happy to welcome Carlos Yulo into the Ajinomoto family. We are inspired by his many victories and we promise to support him in achieving more success in the future,” says Hironori Aoki, APC’s Board of Director for Marketing, Sales and Public Relations.

The 23-year-old athlete will compete at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia this May 2023 and is set to put up a strong display at the upcoming World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Belgium which will be his first opportunity to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
