Jetti, Akyat Aral conduct medical mission in Jomalig

JETTI Petroleum has partnered with the nonprofit organization Akyat Aral on a back-to-school and dental mission for the children of Jomalig Island in Quezon province.

Alyat Aral, currently headed by Albert Atienza, has been operating since 2010. Jomalig Island is a fifth-class mu- nicipality in Quezon with roughly 7, 667 people.

Aside from Jetti Petroleum, the back-toschool and dental mission was also a direct collaboration of Akyat Aral and the Las Pinas Dental Doctors Inner Wheel Club, in coordination with the Jomalig rural health unit and tourism offices.

The mission was held inside the Jomalig covered court. Aside from the dental mission, volunteers also conducted free haircuts, zumba sessions, hair treatment (lice removal), and a gift-giving activity.

Participants in the mission included parents and children from five participating barangays in Jomalig.
