The 14 focal species and their broad breeding seasonality were: • Winter breeders: osprey, caspian tern and redbilled tropicbird. • Spring breeders: brown booby, eurasian spoonbill, saunders’s tern. • Summer breeders: white-cheeked, lesser crested, great crested and bridled tern, crab plover, white-eyed and sooty gull. • Autumn breeder: sooty falcon. g.
