celebratory event at the University of Vermont (UVM) in April: UVM’s men’s lacrosse program celebrated 40 years of varsity status by announcing their 40th Anniversary All-Time Team. Scott, a goalie for the UVM Catamounts, was team MVP his junior and senior years. He earned North Atlantic AllConference Honors in 1992, 1993, and 1995. In 1994, he had a 7.99 goals against average as the team achieved the highest national ranking of any UVM lacrosse team. ADAM GARDNER received Pingry’s Achievement in the Arts Award in May. A group of alumni attended Opening Night of Smokefall, this spring’s Drama IV Play and Al Romano’s final production for Pingry. Mr. Romano retired at the end of the school year, and a tribute will appear in the fall issue.
