Faith is a crucial element of many Goshen residents’ lives. Multiple churches and faith-based agencies working together is a significant reason Goshen shines as a place where people work for the common good, creating an uncommonly great community with unity.

Goshen includes churches of dozens of different denominations including Catholic, LDS, Baptist, Episcopalian, Pentecostal, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Mennonite, Brethren, Orthodox and non-denominational churches. Local churches include services in English, Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian. The Goshen Ministerial Association embraces Goshen’s faith diversity and provides a place for local church leaders to meet monthly. This offers an opportunity to seek support from one another and organize community events like Good Friday services.

Local churches also provide support for multiple local faith-based organizations including Goshen Interfaith Hospitality, the Salvation Army and The Window, which provides food, clothing and other support to lower-income individuals and families.
