Since 1941, The Old Print Shop has published PORTFOLIO, a curated catalog that explores the diverse themes represented in the Gallery. The Old Print Shop has been buying, selling, and building important American art collections since 1898. Specialties of the gallery span the course of American fine art printmaking: Town & Bird’s-eye Views, Historical, Maritime, Western, and Sporting. Among the Natural History prints are original plates from John James Audubon’s masterpiece Birds of America. Rare and important pieces of cartography are offered in the antique map department. Early 20th-century American masterworks, including Edward Hopper, Martin Lewis, and George Bellows, represent a landmark period of modern American art. The Old Print Shop also represents over seventy Contemporary Artists who continue the tradition of printmaking as a unique art form.
