The Isis

Oxford, GB

The Isis, England’s longest-running independent student magazine, was founded at Oxford University in 1892. A lot’s happened since then: Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton bankrolled us, Germany banned us, Evelyn Waugh & Sylvia Plath wrote for us, Punch Magazine mocked us and Wikileaks hosted us. Now, we run events, a website and once a term our print issue finds its way into Oxford accompanied by a digital version exclusively posted on our website. In it you’ll find the best of student journalism and design, carefully assembled by The Isis team. The editors are Kiana Rezakhanlou and Ananya Basu.
