PIERS MORGAN TV presenter Piers Morgan was born Piers Stefan O’Meara in Sussex , to Vincent Eamonn O’Meara, originally from Galway, but relocated to Co. Offaly, and Gabrielle Georgina Sybille Oliver who also has Irish roots. Morgan, a former journalist and editor, has said that when he is in Ireland “it feels like home”. DERMOT MURNAGHAN Television presenter, broadcaster Murnaghan was educated St Malachy’s Primary School in Armagh City and Sullivan Upper School in Holywood, Co. Down. Having worked extensively on the BBC, he is currently with Sky. SARAH MURPHY Commercial Manager, The Irish Post This Dubliner heads up commercial and business development at The Irish Post, and has been a driving force behind the brand’s annual Awards ceremony. COLIN MURRAY Radio presenter From Dundonald, Co. Down, Murray is a sports and music radio and television presenter. In 2010 he became host of BBC Television’s Match of the Day 2 on BBC Two. He is currently with BBC Radio 5 Live. COLEEN NOLAN Television presenter Coleen Nolan (one of the Nolan Sisters) is a regular on ITV1’s flagship shows Loose Women and This Morning. She has also co-presented ITV’s Dancing on Ice & hosted her own Sky series, The Secret Guide to Women’s Health. LAURA PERRINS Co-editor, The Conservative Woman Irish woman Laura Perrins is a former barrister, and tutors at University College London. Her mother was a manager of a market stall. Anne Robinson became famous for her role presenting The Weakest Link. COLEEN MARY ROONEY Television presenter, columnist, product endorser Of Irish descent, Coleen Rooney (née McLoughlin) is married to Wayne Rooney. ZOE SALMON Television presenter Zöe Salmon, born in Co. Down, came to prominence hosting Blue Peter. Since then she has appeared on a range of light entertainment programmes. ANGELA SCANLON TV Presenter, journalist & stylist Dublin-born London-based Angela Scanlon has hosted and presented a variety of programmes on BBC. ANNE MARIE SCANLON Journalist, writer Anne Marie Scanlon, born in Donegal but Dublin raised, is a freelance writer, working in print and broadcast media. She is the author of The Mammy Monologues. JOHN WALSH Journalist, columnist Prolific writer and commentator John Walsh has been editor of The Independent Magazine, literary editor of the Sunday Times and features editor of London’s Evening Standard newspaper.

Tuohy was the first person to appear officially on BBC2. FERGUS WALSH BBC Radio presenter, journalist Fergus Walsh was born in Leicester to Irish parents. He has been the BBC’s medical correspondent since 2006, winning several awards for medical and health journalism.
