On behalf of ISSA, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2022 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo. In preparing for this event, it’s been impossible not to reflect on the challenges and achievements of the last couple of years. Much has changed since we were all physically together as an industry. The constraints on our sector have been significant to say the least – from supply chain and procurement issues to staffing shortages, cost increases and shipping restrictions. Yet on a positive note, look at the remarkable response of the cleaning sector throughout this period – an invaluable contribution that has won the world’s respect. Our industry has been at the forefront of saving lives and safeguarding facilities. Moments like we have experienced can bring about change and as a result, this year more than ever shapes as an important opportunity to examine the latest cleaning products and services Innovation in the cleaning and hygiene space will be of particular interest to attendees, with the best manufacturers and distributors in the industry exhibiting the latest products, technologies, and solutions to emerging problems. Moreover, the Expo is a great educational opportunity for attendees. Over 40 thought leaders will cover a range of important topics including corporate social responsibility; technology and innovation; the risk of working with chemicals, and specialised cleaning, such as healthcare, aged care, hospitality and more. The 2022 ISSA Cleaning & Hygiene Expo is set to be the biggest and best in the event’s history. We hope you will leave enriched with new ideas and meaningful connections.
