APhilippine-based 22-year-old has successfully finished the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the Filipino Institute and is offering this momentous victory to her parents.
Leonel M. Franco took the virtual MBA program after graduating from college with a course of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. A young business-oriented individual, he said that he chose the training institution because the primary aim of the latter is to empower Filipinos who are finding it difficult to thrive abroad.
Franco is also probably one of the residents in the Philippines to ever finish an MBA program at the age of 22.
“The progress when I took my MBA degree seems so difficult because it was conducted virtually. At some point, I’ve doubted my capabilities if I can make it but I realized that there’s nothing easy. One thing, I kept motivated to finish it, I always remember why I am taking the program in the first place and the desire to get an MBA degree,” he said.
Despite attending the classes remotely and virtually, Franco said he had a great experience at the Filipino Institute especially when he presented his research paper and business plan. “It helped me to boost my communication skills and I realized that I should give more value to my education,” he said.
When asked if he had encountered difficulties while taking the degree program, Franco said he didn’t as the professor explained all the modules explicitly and gave me instructions clearly. When they gave me activities, I make sure to finish them and submit them before the deadline,” he further added.
Finishing the MBA program, for him, is the greatest achievement in life. Franco said that in five to six years from now, he will pursue his doctorate degree to increase his credibility for being an expert in his own field.
Franco plans to establish his own water refilling station and poultry supply business in the future.
