Tech MAX EXPO 2025: A Celebration of Cutting-Edge Innovation and Community Stepping into Sheffield’s Magna Science Adventure Centre on 27 June 2025, we were immediately struck by the electric atmosphere. Organised to perfection by Tech for Techs Group Ltd., this free-entry event drew hundreds of channel professionals—resellers, integrators and distributors—from across the UK&I, all eager to immerse themselves in the latest hardware, forge new partnerships and share insights over a full day of live demos and expert panels.
ergonomic monitor arms. Mentor’s “First-Order” voucher giveaway added an element of friendly rivalry, with integrators keen to secure demo units and elevate their own showrooms.
Our journey began at Target Components’ headline stand, which dominated the main hall with a 300 m² showcase of piXL curved monitors and a debut prototype portable touchscreen. The 12-seat gaming arena buzzed with friendly competition, as guests pushed LOGIX desktop builds to their limits under Corsair peripherals. The full-motion racing simulator drew long queues, while Target’s solution architects fielded questions on turnkey PC Build Services, in-store configuration workflows and Flexible Product Feeds—sparking dozens of new collaboration ideas before lunch.
In the bustling Component Hall, six key vendors showcased proven portfolios. Corsair invited hands-on trials of K70 RGB keyboards, Dark Core wireless mice, Xeneon monitors and Hydro X coolers—each station staffed by Corsair engineers ready to discuss thermaltuning and RGB-sync profiles. Gigabyte AORUS turned benchmarking into a spectacle, hosting live overclocking benches on Z790 Ultra motherboards and GeForce GPUs under choreographed RGB lighting. ASUS ROG impressed with ROG Swift OLED monitors, TUF Gaming peripherals and insider previews of PCIe 5.0 SSD roadmaps. Unlike its livebuild workshop neighbours, Tecware simply presented its complete lineup of PrismPro tempered-glass cases, ARGB fan kits and mechanical keyboards—allowing attendees to examine quality firsthand without distraction.
Adjacent to Target, Mentor Distribution demonstrated its AV and office-tech prowess. We tested iiyama’s ProLite 4K displays in a VR design studio, benchmarked colour-accuracy on Koorui gaming monitors, and explored Formetiq sit-stand desks alongside Metalicon’s
