ccording to the last U.S. Census, 73.1 million people are under 18. This equals 22.1% of the U.S. population. Parents of all stripes want to provide the best for their children, whether that is offering them positive childhood experiences or prepping them for a successful future as adults. For someone with an interest in business ownership and a love of children, this provides an ideal intersection for entrepreneurial success. As summer draws to a close, families will be preparing for back-to-school. This can mean keeping kids’ learning skills sharp through tutoring franchises, limiting screen time through fun and healthy activities, or even perfecting kids’ back-toschool looks with new outfits or the perfect haircut. All of these ideas offer innovative and financially viable options for a franchise business. BUILDING BRAINS According to the Education Week State of Teaching survey, students in pre-K through third grade are struggling with fine motor skills and socialemotional capabilities post-pandemic. Whether it is early childhood education centers or franchises that focus on tutoring, supporting academics, and fostering environments where kids of all ages can thrive, it is not only fulfilling for many in search of their own business but also profitable.
