The Eureka County Star Weekly Newspaper

The Eureka County Star is a weekly newspaper put out to the enjoyment of rural living in central Nevada. We strive to cover all parts of our county and the diverse and varied and non-incorporated communities of Eureka, Diamond Valley, Pine Valley, Beowawe and Crescent Valley. Our kids are our future and shining a star on them is a huge part of our paper. Our schools are the best of the best, our churches are a solid base of us, our communities put the common in community. In saying that we started our newspaper to spotlight our resident's accomplishment, our goals and what we are doing to reach for the STARS! The county of Eureka is heavy in gold mining and agriculture and ranching. The Star covers local events from mining activities to high school rodeo to the prices of our world know and sought after alfalfa and timothy hays. Come and laugh with our "Is This You?" weekly look at life, our Sheriff's Corner, Our Commissioners News and Note and everything Eureka County has to think, say and do! Thanks for your interest.
