The East Carolinian

Greenville, NC, United States

The East Carolinian has been East Carolina University's official campus newspaper since 1925.

On each Tuesday and Thursday during the academic year and on Wednesday during the summer, The East Carolinian is published and distributed to approximately 50 locations on campus and in the surrounding Greenville area. The newspaper has a circulation of 9,000 copies per issue during the academic year and 5,000 copies per issue during the summer.

The East Carolinian is a student-produced newspaper where students control the news and production operations of the paper and make all decisions concerning the editorial content of each issue. It is a non-profit entity published under the aegis of the East Carolina University Student Media Board, which oversees the operation of the paper, sets all the policies, and hires the editor in chief. Our newsroom is located in Suite 100F of the Self Help Building, which is downtown at the corner of Third and Evans Streets.
