Four wins for Junior Roosters at home

Cobar Junior Rugby League teams had four wins at home on Saturday in Round 4 of the Dubbo & District Junior Rugby League Competition.
The Roosters Under 10s ran all over their opposition finishing with a 52 nil win in their match against Wellington.
Eligh Ritter touched down five times, Austin Kane scored twice and Jack Mitchell and Bria Brookman also scored one each for Cobar.
Eligh, Austin, Bria, Dusty McDonald, Brock Eves, George Wainiqolo, Charles Miller and Hugo Josephson all landed a conversion each.
Bria collected the Coaches award while Taj Goonrey was named their Players’ Player.
The Roosters Under 13s had a huge 68-6 win in their match against Dubbo Macquarie with Aiden Hyland running in five tries for the Roosters. George McDonald (3), Rowdy Barton (2), Billy George (1), Cohan Nicholson (1) and Lachie Brookman (1) also touched down for tries.
Rowdy (6) and Cohan were responsible for their conversions.
The Players’ Player award went to Aiden while Cohan received the Coaches award.
The Under 14s also won their match 38-14 against Wellington. Ethan McLeod led the scoring with two tries while Kai McCosker, Rowdy Barton, Drew Barton, Jackson Muldoon and Jacob Chandler also crossed for a try each to contribute to their win.
Rowdy converted four tries and Cohan Nicholson booted another for their team.
Kai earned the Players’ Player award while
Rowdy received the Coaches award.
The Under 11s match was close with the Roosters finally getting up over Wellington to finish with a good 28-20 win.
Tommy George led Cobar’s scoring with three tries while Billy Watt and Eligh Ritter also crossed for tries.
Billy, Tommy, Judd Josephson and Ashton White landed conversions.
Judd earned the Coaches award while Billy Watt was named their Players’ Player.
The Roosters Under 12s went down in their match to Wellington 26-16.
George McDonald, Ella Oborn and Zye Russell crossed to score a try each while Mason King and Charlie Nicholson landed a conversion each.
George earned their Players’ Player award and Audrey Josephson received the Coaches award.
The Under 16s lost 36-28 in their game against Wellington.
Jaxon Burke, Oisin McMullen Jarryn Moore, Riley Parnaby, Zach Snudden and Ryan Mugugia were each responsible for a try while Oisin landed two conversions.
The Coaches award was earned by Ryan and Aiden Swan was named Players’ Player.
In the Under 9s uncontested match, the Players’ Player award went to Keelan Atuau while Liam Cain was the recipient of the Coaches award.
Keelan crossed the line four times, Cooper Trudgett twice and Josh Gillette, Indie Burke, Billy Tiffen, Nixon Small and Julius Blackmore also scored tries for Cobar.
