The Cliffs is excited to announce another impressive year in real estate sales with 393 properties sold totaling $410,666,182 in volume. Although a slight decrease from last year’s record breaking sales, property values increased in 2022 for both homes and homesites sold at The Cliffs. The average price for homes sold increased by 25% from 2021 and homesites sold increased by 16%.
In 2022, we were proud to continue our improvements of our amenities at The Cliffs. Renovations and updates were completed at The Tavern at Walnut Cove, Keowee Falls Clubhouse, and Valley Clubhouse. The Cabin at Mountain Park reopened in May 2022 welcoming members to a larger dining room and golf shop plus a private dining room and provided our team with a larger kitchen and office space. We strive to continue to not only update facilities but invest in our staff and create programs to elevate our members’ experience. This includes our Property Management program launched in 2022 that allows members to rent homes in other communities and also provides a way for secondary homeowners to earn income when they are away from their home at The Cliffs. Progress at The Cliffs won’t slow down in 2023 as we plan to reopen the newly remodeled Keowee Vineyards Clubhouse and look forward to the grand openings of The Lake Club at The Landing and the Keowee Springs Clubhouse.

Of the total properties sold within The Cliffs in 2022, Cliffs Realty is excited to announce that their firm was involved in 246 total sales and 63% of all transactions. This reflects a total volume dollar of $233,778,152, representing 57% of the total volume sold. With limited inventory, overall home and homesite prices increased throughout all of our communities. Last year, properties sold within The Cliffs saw a 16% increase in the average price of homesites closed and a 25% increase in the price of homes sold within our gates. Cliffs Realty’s average sale prices saw an even larger increase, with an average homesite selling 25% higher in 2022 and homes selling 69% higher than the year prior.
