The Capsule: A Health Humanities Journal

The Capsule is a health humanities journal at the University of South Florida and a brand new chapter at Florida State University. Our mission is to explore the intersection of public health, personal health, medicine. healthcare, and the humanities through scholarly articles, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, studio art and photography. The Capsule serves as a platform for sharing authentic and impactful work intending to promote reflection, awareness, empathy, and meaningful dialogue surrounding health from a personal to global scale. By championing the voices of patients, caregivers, and professionals, we aim to enrich public health practices and build human connection.
