A FRESH START
Ground breaks on new middle school, elementary schools set to open in fall
Texas City ISD broke ground on the new La Marque Middle School on Feb. 25. The facility was part of the approved 2018 Bond election. The architects are IBI Group and the construction company is DivisionOne Construction. The new school will be located at 7451 Monticello Dr. and is expected to open in August 2022.

Final work continues on Guajardo, Hayley and Simms elementary schools. All three schools are in their final stages and will be ready for staff and students for the opening of the 2021-2022 school year.
