They drove straight past the towns where other aid agencies were working and up into the remote mountain towns of the north, where children had no help. This dedication to overlooked children who live in the hardest to reach areas and the most challenging situations has continued to this day. “It’s not about where we work, but who we work with and how we value each child as an individual,” says Rachel. “We always search out those children that are the most marginalised, the ones who go unnoticed. Whether it’s children from the slums and refugee camps of Uganda, Bangladesh and Lebanon or Dalit children in India who are so brutally rejected they are known as ‘untouchables’, we seek them out and support them to realise their rights.” It’s thanks to the support of customers like you, that these children are reached and supported to become the best version of themselves.
