Advanced Booking
Hire Periods – Definitions
Every Sydenhams Hire branch carries large stocks and most products – even unusual ones are readily available. Equipment can easily be booked in advance to save disappointment or delays in your work. Simply call your local branch.
At Sydenhams Hire, we’re flexible to suit your needs. 4 hours means 4 consecutive hours within a normal working day; 1 day means up to 24 hours; 2 days means up to 48 hours; 3 days means up to 72 hours; 4-7 days means one week including weekends and public holidays.
Ask at your local branch for delivery requirements. You’ll find it a valuable service and the costs reasonable.
Cleaning
Catalogue Changes and Specifications
You expect to work with clean equipment and so do we… and we’ll normally clean the equipment you return, free of charge. However, we reserve the right to make a charge for equipment returned in an exceptionally dirty state.
Sydenhams Hire reserves the right to amend, alter, increase or decrease the charges in this catalogue as well as add new items or withdraw listed items shown here. All illustrations and technical details shown in the catalogue are intended as a guide only, and may not be identical to the particular equipment available for hire. If details shown here are specifically vital to your hire, please check with your local branch.
Sale or Return It’s important to have enough accessories and consumables ready while you’re working, but you don’t want to buy more than you need. Sydenhams Hire will provide you with them on a sale or return basis. You won’t be charged for items you don’t use.
Delivery
Off-Hire When you return equipment, or have it collected by us, you need proof of return – an official Sydenhams Hire ‘Off Hire Note’. It’s also important if you are giving us off-hire instructions by phone – please be sure to obtain your ‘Off Hire Number’ to avoid misunderstandings.
