Cycle the city! Christian Hougaard liebt wie fast alle Kopenhagener das Fahrradfahren. 2013 tauschte er nach vielen Jahren seinen Bürostuhl dauerhaft gegen einen Fahrradsattel ein, liess 20 Fahrräder anfertigen und gründete Cycling Copenhagen. Heute kann man bei Christian geführte Fahrradtouren durch Kopenhagen buchen. Die zwei täglichen Rundfahrten werden von ihm und vier weiteren Guides auf Dänisch, Englisch und Deutsch angeboten. Die «Must-See»-Tour beinhaltet alle Pflichtattraktionen der dänischen Hauptstadt und ist super für Erstbesucher. Christian empfiehlt aber die nicht ganz so touristische «Urban»-Tour: «Auf ihr erhält man einen Einblick in das alltägliche dänische Leben und lernt die verschiedenen Quartiere kennen. Es gibt keine bessere Art, Kopenhagen zu entdecken, als auf zwei Rädern», schwärmt der 38-Jährige. Vor allem auf den stylischen Fahrrädern, die im Preis inbegriffen sind!
Like almost all Copenhageners, Christian Hougaard loves his bicycle. So much so, in fact, that in 2013 he traded the office chair he had occupied for years for a saddle, ordered 20 bikes and founded his Cycling Copenhagen company. And today, you can book one of Christian’s guided bike tours of the city. The two tours a day are conducted by Christian and his four further guides in Danish, English and German. The “Must-See” tour covers all the city’s best-known attractions, and is great for first-timers. 38-year-old Christian person ally recommends the less touristic “Urban Tour”, though. “It really gives you an insight into day-to-day Danish life,” he says. “And it also shows you all the different districts: there’s no better way to get to know Copenhagen than on two wheels.” Especially on the stylish machines that Cycling Copenhagen provides!
