PLACEMAKING

As part of the #ALLINFORSLTX initiative, the Request for Placemaking program provided funding for innovative and creative projects that would increase business resiliency and revitalize underutilized spaces in Sugar Land.

The Rouxpour

As part of the #AllInForSLTX initiative, SLOED granted The Rouxpour a New Orleans-inspired restaurant located at Sugar Land Town Square to construct building and infrastructure improvements to increase outdoor dining capacity at the restaurant.

The improvements proposed by The Rouxpour will expand the outside food service seating capacity and will create a new dedicated curbside/take-out area. The project is expected to be completed in 2023. This addition to Sugar Land Town Square will be made possible through funding from the SL4B Corporation.
