KAREN MCCULLOUGH Karen McCullough sold her first novel, a romantic mystery, to Avalon Books in 1989. Since then, she has had almost two dozen novels and novellas published in the mystery, romance, suspense, and fantasy genres. Her short fiction has appeared in a wide variety of periodicals and anthologies. MARY MILEY Mary Miley, historian and author of eight mysteries set in the Roaring Twenties, began her fiction career with The Impersonator, winning the Mystery Writers of America Best First Crime Novel national award.
