The journey to get the money will take them through the underbelly of Los Angeles and right into its heart of glittery darkness. Gwen wants
to show her family that she can be a success — or at least not a major fuck-up — and arrive with the gift. But when they’re confronted by charismatic cult leaders (Corey Feldman), a thrift store called Twin Sneaks, Reggie Watts and the liberation of succulents, a cockroach gathering, a shrine to Nicholas Cage and trying to make farts revolutionise the online sex industry, will they even make it to the baby shower?
