Last year continued to be challenging for many industries around the world due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic and the realization of many of its longer-term and secondary impacts on the global economy. This year, the Oil & Gas Industry has been further impacted by geopolitical instability (namely the conflict in Ukraine) as well as the continued pressure to move from fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources. Demand for hydrocarbons is returning to pre pandemic levels but is still slightly reduced. Production levels are returning to normal though overall activity remains low
