Subhi Matariyeh, a passionate advocate for mentorship and community engagement, brings leadership and service to every aspect of his journey. Born and raised in Chicago, he honed resilience and teamwork as a high school basketball player at Phoenix Military Academy. Subhi earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University, excelling as a Resident Assistant by fostering inclusivity and supporting his peers. His dedication to mentorship shines through roles like counseling youth at the Summer Institute for Talented and Gifted. A football and car enthusiast, Subhi approaches his passions with an analytical mindset. Through volunteer efforts with organizations such as the Greater Chicago Food Depository, he remains steadfast in his mission to empower others and uplift his community.
