Here’s your hack for the summer slump MAKE THE MOST OF PLAYTIME LAUNCH RIGHT IN WITH . . . GATHER THESE MATERIALS:
Rubber bands
Craft sticks
Cotton balls
1. Stack 3 craft sticks together and wrap each end with a rubber band.
3. Place the stack of 3 craft sticks in between the stack of 2 craft sticks and attach them with a rubber band where they overlap.
Glue
THE CATAPULT! Bottle caps
2. Do the same with another 2 craft sticks, but wrap only one end with a rubber band.
4. Glue a bottle cap to the end of the top craft stick.
Your catapult is finished! Shoot a cotton ball with your catapult. Modify your catapult by adding or subtracting craft sticks, rubber bands, and bottle caps. Does this change the accuracy of your catapult or how far your cotton ball can go?
