Mother’s Day Lunch

On Friday 6 May, the annual Mother’s Day lunch was held in the beautiful marquee at Victoria Park. Current and past mothers, alumnae and special guests mingled with old and new friends over champagne before making their way inside for a delicious three course lunch.

Guest speaker and Stuartholme Alumna, Juanita Wheeler, delivered an inspiring address on the important role mothers play and how we can support each other on our unique journey. This event is not possible without the hard work of the planning committee who go above and beyond to make this event such an outstanding success each year. We also thank the businesses and individuals who donate raffle and silent auction prizes. Thanks to their generosity, the profits from the day totalled $37,460. This money will go into the Parents of Stuartholme fund which is used to contribute to funding requests from the School, students, co curricular and social justice endeavours. If you would like to have a say in how these funds are distributed, please attend the quarterly Parents of Stuartholme meetings. Our heartfelt thanks to our community who continue to support this event.
