SEE & DO
Jurmo is known for its fens, sand eskers and stony moorland. The island is one of the archipelago’s best birdwatching places during spring and autumn migration. • There are a few hiking trails on the island. Please note that the western part of the island is not accessible during the nesting period 1.4–31.7. • The harbour has a summer cafe and shop with a fish counter. • The island has cottages that can be rented per day. • No one has ever solved the riddle of the monk rings. The four circular stone formations are assumed to have been used for grazing or seasonal fishing. • The old windmill and chapel are popular sites to visit. www.jurmo.com Ferry: Nagu (Pärnäs)
