Storm Boswick’s professional life has been marked by steady and broad engagement with the global financial sector. Known formally as Sean Morgan Storm Boswick, he has spent over thirty years specializing in asset management, venture capital, private equity, and debt investments. His efforts have had a lasting impact on both the public and private market sectors. Throughout his career, Storm has played a governance role as a board member for several public and private companies. He is on the Board of Directors at the UCLA Space Institute, serving on the Technical and Finance Committees. His career has taken him across various regions, including Canada, the United States, Europe, Israel, and the Caribbean. In addition to his investment work, he has contributed as a subject matter expert to financial media platforms such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CNNfn, and leading publications like The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. Storm’s academic journey began at Ridley College in Ontario and continued at Choate Rosemary Hall. He later attended the University of St. Andrews, earning an MA Honours in Economic History and International Relations. At St. Andrews, he served as secretary and president of the International Politics Association and competed on the varsity golf team. His Master’s research work was completed at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Starting at Goldman Sachs in 1994, Storm entered the financial world as a research analyst. In 1996, he joined J&W Seligman, quickly becoming the firm’s youngest partner overseeing major technology, media, and telecom investments. Afterward, he focused on these sectors at Sigma Capital as a portfolio manager and later founded Brompton Cross Capital, managing investments across public and private markets.
