Stephen Straz

Stephen Straz grew up believing that authentic craftsmanship comes from patience and doing a job the right way. From an early age, he was the one who stayed behind to finish tasks carefully, and that steady discipline has shaped his work throughout his life. He leads Straz Builders LLC, which operates on the South Shore of Massachusetts, with locations in Marshfield and Pembroke. His company focuses on custom luxury homes, renovations, sustainable and energy-efficient communities, and real estate investments across the South Shore, Greater Boston, Cape Cod, and other areas of New England. Stephen brings practical experience supported by strong credentials, including a Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor’s License, a Class A CDL with hazmat and passenger endorsements, and licenses in hoisting and hydraulics. These qualifications show that he understands every stage of construction. From 2018 to 2020, he oversaw about $12 million in real estate holdings, including roughly $4 million in active construction and around $2 million raised from outside investors. A key accomplishment in that period was the renovation and sale of a property at 130 Gray Street in Arlington, which sold for $1.3 million, or $130,000 above the asking price. His design approach focuses on how people use space. He considers natural light, storage needs, and overall flow to create layouts that feel balanced and functional. One feature he often includes is a long horizontal kitchen backsplash window, a simple choice that adds depth and light without relying on trends. Stephen Straz remains involved from the earliest zoning discussions to the final walk-through, keeping communication straightforward so clients always know what to expect. His project experience includes new construction, high-end renovations, and investment properties across Plymouth County, Norfolk County, Cape Cod, and the Lake Winnipesaukee area. His knowledge of local regulations, coastal rules, and energy standards helps him adjust smoothly.
