Stephen Gleave

Stephen Gleave is a Canadian lawyer working in the area of Canadian Labour and Employment law. With over 30 years practicing, he has tried some of the biggest employment related cases in Canada. Stephen spent over two decades practicing law at the Hicks Morley law firm before joining DLA Piper (Canada) LLP in 2019. He has represented businesses in hundreds of commercial and employment disputes. Stephen has been included in the Best Lawyers in Canada guide, Best Lawyers Global Business list, and Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory for his expertise. At the height of the pandemic, and at the urging of his good friend and esteemed colleague John Vitulli, Stephen decided to move his offices closer to home. The relocation to Hamilton has been refreshing and he feels working alongside Vitulli has enriched both of their legal practices. Stephen enjoys a wide variety of outdoor activities with his family. Not only does he make time to work his Ancaster farm, but he also runs 30 to 40 miles a week.
