Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery East GEorGia CEntEr for oral & faCial surGEry Dr. Asif Lala & Dr. Suketu (Suk) Patel recently purchased Dr. Rodrigo Uribe’s Oral Surgery Practice and are enjoying the very Welcoming Statesboro area. Dr. Lala attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he received both his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering. He is Duel Degreed from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine & School of Medicine. He is originally from Meridian, MS. Dr. Lala married this summer and he and his new bride, Farheen, enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and trying new types of cuisine. Dr. Suk Patel attended the University of Michigan where he earned his B.S. degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. He also is Duel Degreed from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine & School Of Medicine. Dr. Patel is originally from the Chicago, IL area. In his spare time, Dr. Patel is an avid sports fan and enjoys running, fitness, traveling, enjoying restaurants, and spending time with his wife and son (they are expecting a daughter in December!!). His wife, Anjali, is originally from nearby Milledgeville, GA. Since 1991 Dr. Uribe has worked tirelessly establishing a practice & attending the residents of Statesboro and surrounding cities with concern & respect. He will remain in the office part time to see patients. Drs Lala and Patel look forward to learning under Dr. Uribe’s tutelage of experience. Our doctors, highly trained assistants, and office team provide the utmost care & compassion for all of our patients. All three doctors gladly help our community by providing free services to our local Hearts & Hands clinic. Dr. Uribe serves of the board and provides services for the National “Smile
for a Lifetime” Foundation. He has also been voted a 2012 & 2013 “topDentist” by Savannah Magazine. Our doctor’s extensive training in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery includes: Dental Implants, Extraction of Wisdom Teeth & all other surgical extractions, Orthognathic Surgery, Facial Trauma, Oral & Facial Pathology, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and TMJ disorders. All three doctors have privileges at EGRMC.
