Jarrett H. Walden, DMD & Zackary L. Bentley, DMD
Dentistry Southern Family Dental Dr. Hudson J. Powell opened his family dental practice in 1978, shortly after graduating from dental school. Over thirty years later, Dr. Powell’s practice is still very successful. Dr. Jarrett H. Walden joined Dr. Powell in 2008, and Dr. Zackary L. Bentley came the summer of 2012. All three dentists are graduates of Georgia Southern University and the Medical College of Georgia, receiving a B.S. in Biology and a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry, respectively. Dr. Powell worked hard to create a practice in which patients receive the best dental care, and are treated as family. Drs. Walden and Bentley continue to uphold these strong values, and the longtime assistants, hygienists, and office staff strives to not only provide patients with exceptional service, but also an enjoyable visit to the dentist. The practice recently changed its name to Southern Family Dental Group. The dentists and staff truly represent the epitome of a family practice, and accept patients of all ages. In addition to preventative care and maintenance, Southern Family Dental Group also offers major services like crowns and root canal therapy, as well as cosmetic services such as Invisalign, bleaching and porcelain veneers. Southern Family Dental group strongly believes in giving back to the community that has invested in its success. Drs. Walden and Bentley are the official dentists for Georgia Southern Athletics. Dr. Walden serves as the Dental Director and Board Member of the Hearts and Hands Clinic in States-
