2010 Faculty Retirees Anthony Barricelli Science Began: 1971

The retirement of a special teacher is a watershed event for a generation of students. We associate favorite teachers with our youth—a time when life was always exciting and schedules were simpler.

Sr. Margaret O’Connor, S.N.D. Math Began: 1975

There are those who served as mentors and gave us understanding and advice. There were also the “no nonsense” teachers who challenged us and, in the process, taught us the joy of learning, helped shape our careers and our success.

We wish a fond farewell to these faculty members who retired from the Prep this June. Thanks for your years of dedicated service. Time to smell the roses!

Staff “Retiree”

Retired Faculty: Bro. Leonard always finds a way to pay a visit to the Sisters of Charity, many of whom lived and/or worked at St. Francis Prep. He stopped in recently to their retirement village at Mt. St. Vincent, Wellesley, MA. Seated: Sisters Gilberta and Mary Walsh. Standing: Sisters Ellen, Agnes and Bro. Leonard Conway, O.S.F.

Al D’Andrea retired from his day-to-day responsibilities at the SFP Bookstore after 17 years, but he will continue to add to his overall total of 21 years of service to the Prep as he continues as Assistant Coach of the Varsity Baseball Team and as the transportation coordinator for the Prep’s Athletics Department fleet of vehicles. 59
