When Springfield Sings
The Nehemiah Foundation welcomes you to “When Springfield Sings,” a city-wide praise and worship time, bringing together the people of Clark County with one heart and one voice. Tonight’s time of worship will be led primarily by two choirs. The Target Dayton Choir is made up of approximately 40 individuals who either have been or are currently facing homelessness. They travel around worshipping the Lord and sharing how God is continuing to bring redemption to their lives. (www.targetdayton.com/) You will also hear a community choir made up of individuals from several Springfield churches which will be led by Aaron Clark (www.acamlive.com). We know you will be blessed through these groups! The Nehemiah Foundation was birthed out of a city-wide prayer meeting in 1993. For 25 years, people passionate about God and driven by a deep love for Springfield and her people have worked to prayerfully and strategically address the needs of the people of Clark County. Today, The Nehemiah Foundation equips and resources local leaders of non-profit organizations committed to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of youth and families in Clark County. From homelessness and hunger to counseling and residential treatment programs for addiction and trauma; from children’s programs to growing strong leaders for tomorrow, the Nehemiah Foundation serves leaders and non-profits across the city to make our hometown a better place to live.
