MS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE MS IN CYBERSECURITY RISK AND STRATEGY* The core curriculum of this program emphasizes computer science fundamentals, while a wealth of electives allows you to tailor your degree to your professional goals and interests in areas such as cybersecurity, data science, information visualization, machine learning and AI, graphics, game engineering, responsible computing, algorithms, and web search technology.
MS IN CYBERSECURITY This program will equip you with the skills needed to defend vital computer networks and electronic infrastructures against attacks, and secure sensitive data stored in the digital universe from malicious interests. We are able to offer a specialization in cyber operations as one of just 20 institutions designated by the National Security Agency as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations.
This program is designed to provide emerging leaders with an extensive and strategic understanding of the role cyber risk management plays in the success of an organization. In this joint offering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering and the NYU School of Law, your studies will follow an interdisciplinary approach to computer science, law, policy, and business. Ideal for experienced professionals from varied backgrounds, this flexible program incorporates online and on-campus course formats.
PHD IN COMPUTER SCIENCE As this program spans both the CSE and Computer Science departments, you have a choice of faculty mentors from both. Collaborating on research that advances the boundaries of the field, opportunities abound to partner with some of the world’s leading labs.

Computer science and cybersecurity MS students can choose to spend their first semester at NYU London before completing their degree in New York. Students also have the option to study at NYU Abu Dhabi for the first year of coursework, then complete their degree in New York.
Second semester graduate students in the Computer Science and Cybersecurity program may elect to pursue coursework toward their degree at NYU London before returning to New York to complete their studies.

NICHOLAS ANDERSON Cybersecurity, MS Nicholas helped organize the renowned Cybersecurity Awareness Week competition and curated Hack Nights, through which NYU students hone their hacking skills to become experts dedicated to protecting sensitive data. He presently serves as a senior security engineer at Google.

Gathering pertinent information from social media sites, she can predict disease outbreaks, determine local obesity rates, and more.
