Raider smashes in hotel door before stealing computers

A six foot tall man forced open the front door of the Holiday Inn in Southwark Street at around 2am on the morning of Wednesday April 15. He then stole two computers from the reception area before escaping on the back of a white motor scooter ridden by a getaway rider. The computer-thief is described as being 6'3" tall, and of stocky build. He was wearing a full face black crash helmet, black hoody, with a yellow hi-viz jacket and blue track suit bottoms with two white stripes down the side of the legs. Officers from Southwark CID are investigating but no arrests have been made. Anyone who either witnessed or has information concerning this incident should contact Southwark CID by dialling 101 quoting reference 3010492/15.
