The ez Mount is the key product in our innovative system. It allows the installer to mount a box to a wood stud without the use of traditional fasteners, saving you time, and profit. The ez Mount is a “bracket” with a plastic tube protruding perpendicularly outward, wrapped in a steel sleeve. The bracket slides into our proprietary box, and acts as the fourth wall. To mount the box, simply slide the tube through a pre-drilled hole in the stud. The ez Mount provides precise tool-free depth adjustment for common drywall thicknesses.

Arc Flash Vented Hood Miller Safety Consultants has been a proud distributor of arc flash clothing manufactured by Otex Protective since 2000. We also distribute for Cementex USA insulated tools and equipment. We have partnered with Otex Protective since they are a leader of innovative products. Otex researches combinations of various cloth products to achieve a final clothing type that is light weight and meets the arc flash rating needed for various levels of user protection from the calories of heat that are generated by an arc flash incident. Otex has now taken the arc flash vented hood in their PPE class 4 suit another step in safety. Their patent pending “ArcSense interruptor” is the latest advancement in PPE. Building on their current high-flow vented hood, they now have an arc heat sensor engineered into the hood assembly. This optional feature detects the heat from the flash and instantly causes the fan to cease operation keeping the toxic fumes from being vented into the breathing area of the employee. They also have an optional light on the top of the hood to provide additional lighting in the work area. This new hood (shown below) will be offered in the first quarter of 2017 giving the user 3 options: non-vented; vented and ArcSense Interruptor options.
